British Motorcar Festival – Bristol, Rhode Island

June 8th to the 11th, 2017

Colt State Park - on scenic Narragansett Bay.

Presented with the full support of the Town of Bristol, Parks & Recreation and the State of Rhode Island DEM, the Third Annual British Motorcar Festival – Bristol, RI will prove to be “A Most Significant Event” for British Lifestyle Enthusiasts and Anglophiles alike. This event is presented by the event team of the British Invasion of Stowe, VT (the largest All-British Motorcar & British Lifestyle Event in the Eastern United States). 

On Thursday, June 8th we will present the “Bristol Hidden Highway Hundred,” which represents a collaboration between Bentley Drivers Club Members and VSCCA Racers resulting in the creation of a rather exceptional scenic road rally that will start at Colt State Park in Bristol.  New for 2017, the Hidden Highway Hundred will charter a New route that will take in Newport, Jamestown and South Kingstown.  The tour will include lunch for two in route with a display of the participating motorcars.  Tour completion ribbons issued at the end of the hundred mile road rally.  

Friday night will feature a FREE Street Party in downtown Bristol, RI at Independence Park from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Narragansett Bay with British Invasion music and reserved parking for British Motorcars.

Saturday will start with the arrival of our “QUEEN” to a royal canon salute.  Saturday will feature the Concours d’Elegance (Judged Competition); the British Classic Motorcar Show (People’s Choice); The British Race Car Paddock; a British Car Corral (British Motorcars for purchase); New British Motorcar Display (British Motorcars for purchase);The British Marketplace; British Invasion Music; Food & Beverages; a “British Attire Competition” for Car Show Registrants, Guests and the General Public; the Ladies Hat Competition; and more.

Sunday will feature a morning road rally for car show registrants starting at 8:30 AM, leaving from Colt State Park. Meanwhile at the Colt State Park show grounds activities will include a Tailgate Picnic Competition, a Competition of Colors, a driving review of the Saturday Winners in the British Classic, and more.
